Aisha Mulhall

My name is Aisha Mulhall, I am a visual artist and art educator. I obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a Teaching Preparation Specialization from the University of Waterloo. During my studies I focused on courses in educational psychology and socialogy, and spent most of my efforts in the studio furthering my personal art practice.

My specialization is acrylic and oil painting but I continue to explore a variety of mediums such as graphite and ink drawing, sculpture, watercolour and mixed media. For the past 6 years I have worked as the lead art instructor for numerous studios, art programs and camps across Canada. Currently I am owner and art educator of Aisha Mulhall Art Lessons, offering art classes, seasonal camps and art therapy for kids and youth in Castlegar, Nelson and the surrounding area.

In 2013 I worked at Kitchener-Waterloo Access Ability - A non-profit resource centre that supports self-determination for physically challenged individuals. I designed and ran art therapy sessions , providing a safe place to have fun, feel supported and learn new skills.
